CM PRO / Industry solutions

    Construction Project Controls

Contractors lose control in month four, when a second and third site compete for the same store, crew and cash.

From $50/month for this package · No setup fee

    01

    Plan the work

Establish a checked programme, commercial baseline and responsible team.

    02

    Control the execution

Keep progress, materials and inspection evidence in the operating workflow.

    03

    Review the position

Review cost, payments and exceptions against the records your team enters.

    The operating reality

    Pressure points and practical responses

CM PRO brings schedule, quantities, material and cash into one place so project controls are based on the same data the site uses.

Schedule and cost in separate files

Review measured quantities, commercial exposure and programme progress together using consistent project references.

    QS & Commercials

    Late progress reporting

Record actual outcomes against daily targets rather than reconstructing the reporting period at its end.

    Planning & Scheduling

    No early warning on slippage

Review standalone EVM/KPI reports with manual BAC, earned work and AC; compare separate physical CPM and financial-progress forecasts and include formulas in the printed report.

    Planning & Scheduling

    Multiple sites competing for resources

Check project-specific material demands and store records alongside the resources needed for the active programme.

    Procurement & Material Management

    Director's weekly position

Review recorded cash, receipts and payments with the commercial and planning teams before new commitments are made.

    Accounts & Finance

    Recommended workspace

    Choose modules around the work

    01

    QS & Commercials · $20/mo

Control the chain from priced scope to measured work, certified claims and subcontractor commitments. The commercial dashboard provides a working view of budget, cost to date, variations and progress; it is not a substitute for the contract or the consultant's certification.

    02

    Procurement & Material Management · $10/mo

Make requests, approvals and stock movements visible to the people responsible for purchasing and custody. The same operational discipline applies to cement on a project, consumables in a factory or maintenance supplies across managed properties.

    03

    Vendor Management · Included free

Keep suppliers, subcontractors and petty contractors in a company-owned directory. Use specialities, project assignments and active status to make the correct party easier to find without exposing another company's contacts.

    04

    Planning & Scheduling · $10/mo

Connect P6 XER schedules and WBS/floors with dynamic CPM, direct or Excel progress updates, recovery plans and standalone EVM reporting with separate physical and financial forecasts.

    05

    Accounts & Finance · $10/mo

Bring bank balances, receipts, payments, vouchers and petty cash into a clear operational finance view. Construction teams can retain project references, while other businesses use the same discipline for their operating work.

    06

Documents & Quality · Included free

Use consistent site formats for inspection, permission, reporting and material approval. Documents & Quality is included with QS; the existing project records and free-resource formats remain distinct workflows.

    A working implementation

Start small. Check one complete cycle.

    Agree the baseline

Choose a representative project, phase or operating location. Check the opening programme, quantities, material records and financial references against their original evidence. Name the person who enters each type of record and the person who reviews it. Do not bring an unchecked spreadsheet into a new system and assume the change of software has corrected the data.

    Connect site and office

Have the site team record actual progress, attendance, material needs and inspection references. The office can then review the commercial and financial position against operational evidence rather than relying on separate verbal summaries. Company access and enabled modules determine which workflows each user sees. Attendance is marked manually; a schedule or crew list does not automatically mark someone present.

    Review exceptions, not just totals

Late tasks, unexplained stock movements, unapproved work and missing payment references deserve attention before the weekly summary. A progress percentage is an indicator, not a diagnosis. Check the completeness of records and the relevant dates before drawing conclusions. For construction claims, measurement rules and the signed contract remain authoritative; the software does not replace certification or professional judgement.

    Scale at the team's pace

Evaluate the available workflows during the trial and add modules that resolve a real operational need. Trading, manufacturing and service teams can start with HR, Accounts or Procurement without using construction-specific billing. Developers and contractors can connect QS, Planning and site documentation as their processes require. Define a review rhythm and reconcile first outputs before expanding to more projects or locations.
